Unpaid bills: SNGPL stops gas supply to nine defaulters

LAHORE:


Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has cut off gas supply to four industrial and five commercial units for their failure to clear unpaid bills amounting to Rs37.6 million.


According to a press release issued by SNGPL – a gas distributing company that covers Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa – the move to stop gas supply has been taken to improve recovery from industrial and commercial consumers, who could not pay off their dues within the stipulated time.


Apart from this, the company has sent a list of defaulters to regional heads for taking action against them.

Those who had their gas supply cut off included Johar City CNG (Multan), Karim CNG (Gujranwala), Pak Fuel CNG (Bahawalpur), Jamil Pottery Works (Gujrat), Qaisar Waheed (Lahore), Akram Plastic (Peshawar), Arshad Jawa (Lahore), Muhammad Shahzad (Multan) and manager of Peshawar bus stand.
