The warm-up match between India and Australia, ahead of the ICC Champions League came to an end with India winning by 243 runs on Tuesday, ESPN cricinfo reported.

Australia could only manage 65 runs against India's 308. This could have been the biggest recorded loss for Australia in a one-day international game, only if it were an official match.

However, one of the commentators light-heartedly hinted that it's a strategy played by Australia - to lose badly in the practice matches only to emerge strong on the official match day itself.

Only two cricketers from Australia scored in double-figures, ESPN cricinfo reported.
