Quality enhancement cell: DUHS evaluates its nursing programmes

Programme evaluation is a mandatory requirement of NEC to ensure quality of each degree programme.

KARACHI:
The Quality Enhancement Cell at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) arranged an awareness session for teaching faculty on programme evaluation through self-assessment on Tuesday.

Programme evaluation is a mandatory requirement of the Higher Education Commission to ensure the quality of each degree programme.

Faculty members and the top management of the Institute of Nursing of the University attended the session.


The committee’s deputy director, Surraiya Khatoon, conducted the session who judged the overall standing of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered in nursing.

The cell is an initiative of the Higher Education Commission and has taken the innovative measures for improving quality education.
