Shahdara : Boy drowns in Ravi
None of the family members knew how to swim so they could not dive in to try and save him.
LAHORE:
An eight-year old drowned in the River Ravi after falling in accidentally on Sunday. Rescue 1122 officials said that Subhan and his family had come to the Baradari for a picnic. The boy slipped from the river bank and fell in. He was carried into deep water. None of the family members knew how to swim so they could not dive in to try and save him. Rescue officials later managed to recover the boy’s body and handed it to his family.
