PAF beat former national champions Wapda 2-0 to clinch third place at the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Challenge Cup 2013.
After a goalless first-half, PAF captain Muhammad Mujahid scored the opener in the 71st minute before sealing the result by adding another five minutes later.
The win pleased PAF coach Arshad Khan who was now looking forward to the team’s performance at the Pakistan Premier Football League next season..
“I’m impressed with Mujahid and this win should be credited to him,” Khan told The Express Tribune. “The players are fit and motivated and I believe we can finish among the top three at PPFL as well.”
