The Election Commission of Pakistan had ordered re-polling at stations where balloting could not be held on May 11 due to security concerns.

As per May 11 results Maulana Qamaruddin was in the lead with 25,476 votes while Abdul Rauf Mengal was in second place with 24,990 votes.

Congratulating his party workers, BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal said the result proved that BNP is a popular party in the province.
