Language training: Chinese delegation visits NUML

ISLAMABAD:
A high level Chinese delegation visiting Pakistan ahead of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang’s visit went to the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Tuesday. The delegation, headed by Confucius Institute Headquarters chief executive and Hanban Director General Xu Lin, comprised of renowned educationists and scholars. Students from the NUML Chinese Department, Roots International and other institutions of the twin cities presented a colorful cultural show for the visiting guests, performing popular Chinese songs, displaying martial arts, reciting poems, and showing the different cultures of Pakistan backed by folk music. Earlier, Lin met with NUML Rector Maj Gen (retd) Masood Hasan and DG Brig Azam Jamal.
