The bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination.

FAISALABAD: Two brothers were kidnapped and shot dead by men, dressed as policemen, in Chak Jhumra. Police said that Safdar Ali Jutt and Ghulam Ahmad, residents of Chak 114-JB, were asleep when some men entered their house. Witnesses said the men were dressed as policemen. They handcuffed the two men and took them away. Later, their bodies were found lying on the roadside. Police said they had been shot. The bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination. Muhammad Ameen, a neighbour of the deceased, said that Jutt had an enmity with some men over an irrigation dispute. He said Jutt and Ahmed had been arrested on murder charge a few days ago. They were released on bail on Wednesday. Ameer Javed Nasir, the spokesman for the city police officer, said the Chak Jhumra SHO had been ordered to look for the suspects. He said Jutt’s widow had nominated four people and stated that they were accompanied by eight identified men. No one has been arrested so far.
