ISLAMABAD:
A woman attempted to commit suicide after a quarrel with her husband in the Airport area of Rawalpindi on Sunday.
Police said that Rubina allegedly drank acid after a quarrel with her husband. Meanwhile, Hazarat Ali, the husband of the victim, told police that his wife had insisted he get up for Fajr prayers, but he refused.
He told the police that his refusal annoyed her and she went to the washroom and drank acid.
The police registered a case against the woman who had been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital.
Police are further investigating the case.
