Khursheed Shah wins NA-199 for the PPPP team

While the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) saw a lot of its outgoing federal ministers not being elected for a second term, Syed Khursheed Shah though managed to retain his seat, Express News reported.

Contesting from NA-199 Sukkur cum Shikarpur-II, the former federal minister for religious affairs secured a whopping 72,584 votes.

His opponent of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Faqeer Inayat could only muster 27,252 votes.
