Hospitals remain on high alert today
Polyclinic management has arranged additional beds to ensure maximum space for incoming patients, says spokesperson.

All major hospitals in the federal capital will remain on high alert till Sunday (today) to handle any untoward situation during general elections.
According to hospitals sources, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) and Polyclinic hospital have made a comprehensive rapid response plan to ensure provision of medical assistance.
Polyclinic spokesperson Dr Sharif Astori said the hospital management has arranged additional beds to ensure maximum space for incoming patients. He said all relevant medical and paramedical staff will remain on duty.
A Pims official said all relevant disaster arrangements have been finalised, and if any emergency situation arises, the disaster plan will be activated.
The official said over 400 new beds would be created in case of any emergency.
