MQI stages sit-in against elections outside Punjab Assembly
Qadri says ECP had paved the way for bogus degree holders and corrupt people to reach assemblies.

Minhajul Quran International (MQI) activists on Saturday staged a sit-in against the general elections in front of the Punjab Assembly.
A large number of workers including women and children participated in the sit-in which started at 8am and concluded at 3pm, led by Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the "corrupt" polling system.
Dr Tahirul Qadri, talking to the participants through video link, said the Election Commission of Pakistan had paved the way for bogus degree holders and corrupt people to reach assemblies.
