The bench has issued notices to Deputy Attorney General and Advocate General in this regard.
QUETTA:
A division bench of the Balochistan High Court restrained the government authorities from hampering entry of Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti, the son of slain Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti, to Dera Bugti in connection with election campaign.
The bench has issued notices to Deputy Attorney General and Advocate General in this regard. The notice, referring to a Supreme Court decision, read, “no hurdle or impediment be placed in the way of petitioner, other candidates and voters to participate in the next general election as directed by the Supreme Court.”
In a related development, Nawab Aali Bugti, grandson of Akbar Bugti and nephew of Talal, is on his way to Dera Bugti to take charge of Nawab Bugti’s fort which had been earlier vacated.
