A woman was shot dead allegedly by her father and brother who suspected her of having an illicit relationship. Muhammad Shareef, a resident of Chak-239, had suspected his 23-year-old daughter of having an affair with a resident of Kot Samaba.
On Thursday night, Shareef and his son allegedly shot his daughter dead. Police said the bullet-ridden body of the deceased was found lying on a road in Islam Garh. They said the body had been sent to a hospital for a postmortem report and a case had been registered against Muhammad Shareef and his son.
