Officials defused a five kilogram medium intensity explosive device planted near the election office of Awami National Party (ANP) candidate for PK-8, Arbab Nazir in Choli village. The device was spotted by locals who informed the police. After inspecting, officials summoned the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) who were able to defuse the device successfully.

Is this image from a training exercise? Looking at the shadows, its clear that everyone in the picture would be within the blast radius and would be a casualty. Then the helmet the technician is wearing. This is a standard issue riot helmet. Utterly useless in providing any any utility or protection for bomb disposal work.
I guess this is the state of the country. Hard working but denied the tools by its leaders to be safe and effective. Salute to the brave men of the bomb disposal unit, I do hope you remain safe during this election season.
Good job! 2 down, countless others to go.
