Chief of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has promised that he will end lawlessness, unemployment, inflation and the power crisis, if his party wins the elections. He said this while addressing separate public gatherings at Sangla Hill and Sheikhupura.
Pleased over the turnout at the rally, he said, “Do you want a motorway for your city? Then vote for the tiger. Do you want jobs and degrees? We shall provide you with jobs, but your degrees should be genuine, not fake.”
Referring to Imran Khan’s slip of the tongue at a recent rally, when he had asked people to vote for the tiger, Nawaz said: “Now, even our opponents have started asking people to vote for the tiger.”
Saying he was confident of the support of the youth, he appealed to the people to elect his party with a two-thirds majority.
“Please vote for a party that understands the problems of the people, instead of voting for an inexperienced party,” he said.
He criticised the out-going government and held it responsible for the power crisis, and also expressed surprise over why people found his criticism of the previous government unpleasant.
“Had Zardari worked only two hours daily for the wellbeing of the people, the nation would not be suffering like this. But when I say this some people find it very unpleasant,” he said.

Youth may be vibrant, but the experience also matters.
