The military estates officer, police and other officials have been restrained from demolishing the century-old Shri Rama Pir temple in Soldier Bazaar till May 10.
The temple’s Pooraji and Shewadris had gone to court against a private builder, Ameen Lakhani, his partner Muhammad Shoaib and another who claimed to be the owner of the plot, Ismail Gora, for allegedly demolishing the worship place on December 2, 2012.
On Tuesday, the petitioners informed the bench, bench headed by Justice Maqool Baqar, that the officials had demolished the temple despite court orders.
