Beverage partnership: Johnny Rockets, Pepsi team up

Johnny Rockets, an international fast food chain, has signed an agreement with PepsiCo making it the exclusive beverage partner for Pakistan. Hamdan International is the local franchisee for Johnny Rockets, an international chain of themed American restaurants, whose concept is to create a classic American restaurant atmosphere. In a ceremony hosted by PepsiCo at Sheraton Karachi on Tuesday it was announced that PepsiCo will provide beverages for all Johnny Rockets outlets in Pakistan. Monavar K Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer of Bandhani Group of Companies, said “Johnny Rockets is known worldwide to deliver great experience in terms of burgers, shakes and overall customer experience. We are confident that Johnny Rockets will be a distinct addition in the Pakistan food Industry.” It is pertinent to mention that traditionally Coca Cola has been the exclusive beverage partner for Johnny Rockets. The agreement with PepsiCo is for Johnny Rocket’s Pakistan operations.
