Blast: Former senator’s house targeted

According to a police official, unidentified persons planted an explosive device near the former senator’s house.

PESHAWAR: The main gate of the house of former senator Nasir Khan Afridi was destroyed in a medium-intensity blast in Hayatabad late Sunday night.

According to a police official, unidentified persons planted an explosive device near the former senator’s house.

“The main gate had been destroyed in the attack, however, there were no casualties,” the official said, adding around one to two kilogrammes of explosives were used in the home-made device.
