ECP accepts Imran's nomination papers for NA-122

PTI chairman had filed papers for five National Assembly seats.

ISLAMABAD:
The Election Commission of Pakistan accepted the nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for NA 122 Lahore, Express News reported on Saturday.

Imran had filed nomination papers for five National Assembly seats including NA-1 (Peshawar-II), NA-56 (Rawalpindi-VII), NA-71 (Mianwali-I) and NA-125 (Lahore-VIII).

The ECP started scrutiny of the nomination papers from April 1 and has accepted and rejected nomination papers of many contenders so far.


PTI members

PTI recently announced a list of candidates who will contest elections for NA seats from Lahore.

The names include Hamid Zaman (NA-118), Mohammad Madni (NA-119), Dr Yasmeen Rashid (NA-120), Barrister Hammad Azhar (NA-121), Mehmoodur Rasheed (NA-126) and Abdul Aleem Khan (NA-127).
