Cricket: Sindh Police triumph in league

Mah Rose were all out for 213 as Hafiz Asad and Riaz Ahmed bagged four wickets apiece.

KARACHI: Murtaza Majeed and Rehan Sajid hit half-centuries to guide Sindh Police to an easy 45-run win against Mah Rose in their 19th Hinopak Trophy Inter-Departmental League match here at the TMC Ground. Batting first, Sindh Police made 258 for seven in their 50 overs as Majeed scored 87 off 98. Mah Rose were all out for 213 as Hafiz Asad and Riaz Ahmed bagged four wickets apiece. Meanwhile, off-spinner Omair Ahmed claimed a five-for to bowl Qasmi CC to a six-wicket win against Touchme here at the KCCA Stadium.
