Former chief minister Punjab Shahbaz was speaking to media in Lahore.
On April 5, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) passed on information to election authorities about three graft references against PML-N leadership. The references are pending in the Accountability Court, Rawalpindi.
The two brothers were found accused of loan default in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills scandal by the NAB during the scrutiny of their nomination papers, sources told The Express Tribune. The NAB found that the Sharif brothers were accused in the case of loan default of Rs3,486 million rupees in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.
During the press conference, Shahbaz requested the caretaker government to take notice of the accusations leveled against his “popular party.”
He further said that if action against such unwarranted claims is not taken, the people might assume that the accusers are supported by the interim setup.

Shahbaz Sharif said he will quit politics if graft references against him are proven, He is quite sure that nobody can prove his corruption. The crimes of elites are hard to prove.
Mian Sahib you knew very well if you are a defaulter then you can't contest election. And if you can't contest election then you can't become CM or PM. And if you don't get to become CM or PM then you will quit politics, which is your profession and source of income. So don't fool people, if you are a defaulter then you 'do not have to" rather you "will have to" quit politics.
They said the same thing about their secret agreement with Musharraf when they left for KSA. Which, as we now know, has been proven a pack of lies. If they lied on that occasion, how on earth do they expect people to trust them this time?

In his candidate submission papers he has filled out "Politician" as his occupation. Since he has no "other" source of income that can be proved on paper, how can he quit politics? He will starve to death if it was not for the income generated by politics. Poor guy.

Nobody can be disqualified on mere accusations. NAB has pending references of Hudaibiya Paper Mills against Sharif brothers. There is no decision against them. They will get clearance to contest elections.

Old tactics... There is no court in Punjab which can go against you. A while ago in 1990s, your brother invested heavily in judges. You will keep on reaping the fruits. While others are being disqualified on the basis of hearsay (water theft allegations), and you and your brother, despite all the documentary evidence, continue to rely on a decade old stay order.
@Voice of D.I.khan: I am not supporting that particular party, I am against intolerance and unsubstantiated allegations. I don't condemn anyone on the basis of hearsay. FYI I am a PTI supporter.
Shairf Brothers has 'Stay order' from Lahore Hight Court since 1998, so they do not have to pay the money back.

It is an entertaining drama which has just started to amuse the people. Whole nation will witness same tall claims from political elite. With passage of time every thing will be forgotten and with little bit cosmetic change same lot will again be sucking the blood of the country though under different hat. Some times just compare how elections are held in other countries where party leaders are called on media to present the manifesto of the parties and are confronted with very tough questions. Masses of country then evaluate presented material by political parties and elite and cast their vote on merit. In Pakistan it looks GANGA ULTI BEH RAHI HAI.
Whenever the powerful is scrutinized, complete media starts crying foul! We must support ECP to filter out the corrupt!

Why he crying in front of Press and Government . Their is independent election commission and Court are present at this moment and I Think ball is in the court of EC and court .So why he is threatening NAB and caretaker Government .Is their something wrong ?
