LAHORE:

A PML-N delegation from Sindh called on former chief minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday and discussed matters pertaining to party’s strategy on elections.

Talking to the delegation, he assured them of complete support by the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) during the upcoming elections.

Shahbaz Sharif said that billions of rupees were spent in Sindh for development projects but the ground realities presented a totally different picture.

He said that street crimes, extortion and target killings have become common occurrences in Karachi. The former CM pledged that the PML-N would bring peace in Karachi if voted to power in the upcoming elections.

He stated that promises of a Karachi-Peshawar bullet train and overcoming the power crisis in two years were not election gimmicks and the PML-N would fulfil the promises like metro bus and the Motorway.
