General Elections: Bahawalpur candidates file papers
Bahawalpur witnessed 116 nominations for the National Assembly and 291 for the provincial assembly respectively.
BAHAWALPUR:
A total of 352 candidates filed their nomination papers on Monday for the National Assembly while 903 submitted theirs’ for the Punjab Assembly in Bahawalpur Division.
The district of Bahawalpur witnessed 116 nominations for the National Assembly and 291 for the provincial assembly respectively.
Some 24 candidates for NA-183, 21 candidates for NA-184, 35 candidates for NA-185, 18 candidates for NA-186 and 18 candidates for NA-187 filed their papers while 20 candidates for PP-267, 33 candidates for PP-268, 15 candidates for PP-269 and 21 candidates for PP-270, filed their nomination forms.
