A bogus university was discovered and some of its staff arrested on Thursday following a raid by the education department.
The Islamic University of Pakistan, Sialkot, at the Airport Road, was raided by the education monitoring officer, Aamir Raza.
The organisation is accused of employing bogus teachers and receiving hundreds of thousands of rupees from students and giving out fake diplomas.
