Prof. Rana Qamar Masood was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in recognition of her contribution for the promotion of medical education and establishment of the first National Institute of Liver Diseases in public sector. Her contribution towards the promotion of Dow University of Health Sciences was also recognised at a ceremony held by Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad at the Governor House here on the eve of Pakistan Day on March 23.
