Cleanliness week will be observed here starting Monday (today) said DCO Naeem Rauf at a meeting on Sunday. He said all arrangements had been finalised. The use of black polythene bags would be banned, competitions among the cleanliness staff would be held and winners would be given prizes, he said. Banning the use of black polythene bags would solve 80 per cent of sewerage problems in the city, the DCO said.
