Army commemorates: Garrison celebrates Pakistan Day
Tent pegging, show jumping, a traditional camel dance, luddi and a dressage exhibition captivated the audience.
BAHAWALPUR:
Pakistan Day was celebrated at the Bahawalpur Garrison with great fervor and enthusiasm. Dr Muhammad Abid, father of late Capt Hassan Abid, was chief guest at the occasion. Special prayers for the country’s prosperity were held followed by a colourful riding gala for families. Tent pegging, show jumping, a traditional camel dance, luddi and a dressage exhibition captivated the audience. Bahawalpur Corps Commander Lieutenant General Zubair Mehmood Hayat appreciated the event organisers and distributed prizes among the participants.
