Balochistan interim govt: Ghous Bux Barozai sworn in as interim chief minister

Everything will be based on merit and interim provincial cabinet will comprise 20 members, says interim CM.

QUETTA: Nawab Ghous Bux Barozai took oath as the interim Chief Minister of Balochistan on Saturday, Express News reported.

Former Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi administered the oath.

While talking to the media, the interim CM said that everything will be based on merit and interim provincial cabinet will comprise of 20 members.

The stalemate over the caretaker chief minister of Balochistan finally ended on Thursday, as Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi named Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Barozai for the post.

He is the son of senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Mohammad Khan Barozai, a former chief minister and speaker of the Balochistan Assembly.

Unfortunately Pakistan has become the capital of culperts, therefore merit, islamic and humen values have gone from our lives and this piece of land is waiting for day of judjement.
