Moving out: IJT will resist shifting of Islamia College
Action committee believes the colleges were being moved so that the land could be used for commercial purpose.

The shifting of Islamia College Karachi is unacceptable, and if the vested interests try to shift the educational institutions from the Islamia College complex building they will face tough resistance, warned Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT).
Its action committee president Talha Bin Rashid and vice-president Dilawar Khan said the educational future of 20,000 students was being jeopardised, in a meeting with IJT Karachi chapter nazim Waqas Aazmi.
They believed the colleges were being moved so that the land could be used for commercial purpose.
