Cricket: Pakistan to help Afghanistan cricket

The PCB will also arrange courses on doping, anti-corruption and various codes of conduct.

Pakistan will assist the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) in developing the sport after signing a memorandum of understanding in Lahore.


The scope of assistance includes Game Education Programmes including Level-1 and Level-2 coaching courses as well as guidance for umpires, groundsmen, curators besides skill and performance analysts. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will also organise a Players Development Programmes inclusive of two High Performance Camps for Emerging Players at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.

In addition to this, the PCB will also arrange courses on doping, anti-corruption and various codes of conduct. The ACB Chief Executive Officer Noor Muhammad, who signed the MOU with PCB’s Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed, appreciated Pakistan’s support.

“Our cricketers, coaches and umpires will be able to make use of PCB’s excellent facilities,” he said.
