208 target killers, 238 extortionists arrested from Karachi: Report
Judges question government’s failure to end no-go areas in the city including Lyari.

Around 208 target killers and 238 extortionists belonging to political parties and banned outfits were arrested from Karachi, a report submitted to Supreme Court on Thursday said.
Express News reported that the report was submitted to SC during a hearing on the Karachi violence suo motu case.
A five-member bench – headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry – resumed the case hearing today.
The judges questioned the government’s failure to end no-go areas in the city including Lyari.
The bench concluded that the government has failed to address the issue seriously.
