PML-Q's Sheikh Waqas Akram joins PML-N

Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif took the opportunity to welcome Akram to the party.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Federal Minister Sheikh Waqas Akram announced his decision to join Pakistan Muslim Leaque- Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday, reported Express News.  

Speaking to the media at a joint press conference, Akram said he will do everything in his power to make a better Pakistan together with the PML-N.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took the opportunity to welcome Akram to the party.

On the occasion, party plans to start a public university in Jhang were also announced.

I used to respect him, given his fight against religious extremists. Now, I'm not so sure.
