@Iram: You cant stop an angry mob we've learnt that from egypt, tunisia, syria, libya etc. These people are just too sentimental about religion.
@NP: Well said.
The only Chief Minister in Pakistan who takes prompt action. Sindh's CM hardly visits any arson site. Callously, he preferred to attend marriage ceremony rather than visiting the victims. He has not visited Abbas Town at all. Balochistan's governments cheques to the Hazara victims have bounced, speaking volume about the hipocracy of the government! For Doctor Imran Khan Niazi & his pseudo-intellectual trolls, the soft target is Shahbaz Sharif while they keep their mouth shut against other provincial governments.
Yes they will be punished like those who were punished for reducing Hindu/Sikh from 22% of population of W Pakistan to 2% or less today.
Why is the pressing concern about the reputation of Pakistan? The pressing concern here should be for the welfare of the affected people and the government's failure in protecting them. It should about the propagation of an unjust law that encourages vigilantism and about the level of intolerance in Pakistani society. Take care of the sense and the senses will take care of themselves.
Where was the police on sat, to stop the houses being burned?
Its fine to say houses, etc will be repaired, but its also a disgrace for punjab police that they allowed this to happened....
This sorry incident has exposed the poor management and governance in the Punjab once again.
