QUETTA: Tyres of a Pakistan International Airlines plane burst while the aircraft made an emergency landing in Quetta, Express News reported on Friday.

All passengers on board remained unharmed.

The PIA flight 363 was coming from Islamabad and was two hours late.

The reason behind the emergency landing is not known as yet.

An emergency was declared at the airport as a result of the incident.

According to the authorities, the tyres will be repaired immediately and the plane will fly back to Islamabad.

Earlier in February 2013, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) passenger plane with about 70 people on board crash-landed on the runway of Oman’s main airport in Muscat.

Thanks to god...all the passengers remained safe in the incident. The PIA engineers, later, examined the aircraft as there was no word from the airline spokesman on the incident.
