Canal water theft: Action against those responsible says CM
The complainants mentioned that continuous water theft by influential people is causing problems for other farmers.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered the district police officer to act against those stealing canal water. During his recent visit to Rahim Yar Khan, the chief minister received complaints of canal water theft. The complainants had mentioned that continuous water theft by influential people was causing problems for other farmers. The chief minister asked District Police Officer Sohail Zafar Chattha to pursue complaints registered by the Irrigation Department and arrest those involved in water theft. The chief minister also directed District Coordination Officer Nabeel Javed to complete the construction work on the Grain Market and to present him the report by March 10.
