Abbas Town: Electricity bills for 6 months waived for affected families
Karachi Electric Supply Company has announced that it will exempt their outstanding arrears.

In an effort to help out the families of the victims of the Abbas Town tragedy, the Karachi Electric Supply Company has announced that it will exempt their outstanding arrears and also grant a waiver on the payment of electricity bills for the next six months.
The company said that it has taken this decision purely on compassionate grounds after the blasts on Sunday which killed almost 50 people.
A list of the affected families will be finalised after coordinating with the civic and voluntary agencies.
All outstanding arrears and six month’s power bills of such families will be paid by the company.
