Scrabble: BVS Parsi School dominates championship

Identical twins Hamad and Hassan Hadi Khan clinch the top two positions of the under-18 event.

It was a field day for the students of the BVS Parsi School at the JS Bank 14th Inter-school Scrabble Championship yesterday. Identical twins Hamad and Hassan Hadi Khan clinched the top two positions of the under-18 event while Tasarun Munir secured third place.


The competition was held in four categories, with BVS Parsi School’s Mirza Taha Hasan winning the under-11 championship. In the under-14 event, Rawalpindi’s  Ahmad Abdullah Abbasi representing City School secured first position. Meanwhile, in the Masters category, IBA student Mirza Waseem Baiq won the championship defeating UET’s Safdal Ali Naqvi. Ashfaq Khatti of Mehran University secured third position.
