As part of its centenary celebrations, the Kinnaird College for Women will organise a two-day conference on Issues and Challenges in Education on February 22 and 23.

A press release issued on Tuesday said the British Council was a key partner in this enterprise.

The inaugural session of the conference on February 22 from 3pm to 6pm will be followed by informal interaction among delegates. Sub-themes for the three sessions on Saturday include Issues and Challenges in Curriculum Development; Testing and Examination System; Teacher Training and Faculty Development Programmes and Fee Structure in Higher Education.

Dr Isabel William, the organiser of the conference and Dean of the Faculty of Professional Studies, said, “The conference will focus on identifying the many issues and challenges that impede attempts to seriously solve problems related to inequity of opportunity at one level and the quality of education at another.”
