Did you know?: Beyonce, Jay Z are power couple of 2013

Singer Beyonce Knowles and her rapper husband Jay Z have been honoured as the Power Couple of 2013. They beat 24 other couples to the title in the E! News poll.

The poll included Prince William and Duchess Catherine as well who were placed second and singer Kanye West and socialite Kim Kardashian who were voted third, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Beyonce and Jay Z are successful singers and both have their own clothing lines. The birth of their daughter Blue Ivy, in 2012, also showed how well they can juggle success and parenthood.

Beyonce, 31, thinks their friendship is one of the key factors in their marriage. “Friendship is so important for a relationship. To have someone who is honest is very important,” said Beyonce, reports contactmusic.com. “I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. He has helped me on so many levels.”
