Actor Momina Iqbal has begun a new chapter in her personal life as her wedding celebrations officially got under way, with a traditional Dua-e-Khair ceremony marking the start of the festivities.

Videos and photographs from the event quickly circulated on social media, drawing widespread attention from fans and followers. The gathering was attended by close family members, relatives and friends, who came together to offer prayers for the couple.

The ceremony served as the opening event in a series of wedding celebrations involving Momina and her husband, Hamza Habib. Reports said the formal wedding functions were set to begin following the prayer ceremony, which established the tone for the upcoming events.

Momina attracted attention with her attire for the occasion, wearing a traditional gharara in golden and light pink tones. The outfit was widely noted for its elegant design and became one of the highlights of the event.

Hamza Habib also appeared in graceful attire, with the couple becoming the focal point of the gathering. The ceremony came days after reports confirmed that Momina Iqbal and Hamza Habib had tied the knot.

Earlier statements made during proceedings at the Lahore High Court indicated that Hamza had publicly confirmed the marriage while speaking to reporters. "I am not her future husband; I am her husband now. Thank God we got married two days ago," Hamza had said.

The court, presided over by Justice Abir Gul, granted protective bail to Hamza Habib and directed him to approach the relevant court by June 1. Momina's sister, Rimsha, also appeared in court during the hearing.

Hamza has also been facing a case registered in Jhang over allegations of issuing threats to kill Saqib Chadhar, against whom Momina has lodged complaints of harassment with the Federal investigation Agency (FIA).

Hamza has rejected the accusations as "false and baseless", alleging that the case was politically motivated. Reiterating that Momina is his legal wife, he claimed he had previously been offered money to separate from the actress.
