Busted: 13 arrested; drug, liquor seized
1.2kg of hashish, 16 bottles of liquor and a 30-bore pistol with two bullets have been seized.

The Gujar Khan police on Friday apprehended 13 suspects on various charges and seized hashish, liquor and weapons from their possession. In the first incident, a police party raided a gambling den in Rajgan locality and nabbed Akhtar, Sarfraz, Abbas, Qaisar, Faisal, Sohail and Rashid. Meanwhile, the same police arrested Zahid, Jahanzeb, Hussain, Shahzad, Abid and Zahid, during routine patrolling, and seized 1.2kg of hashish, 16 bottles of liquor and a 30-bore pistol with two bullets from them. Cases have been registered against them under the relevant laws and are being interrogated, the police said.
