SALU inaugurates university’s alumni website

Professor Dr Parveen Shah says online platform will promote educational activities.

Faculty and administration of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, gathered to celebrate the inauguration of the university’s alumni website on Thurday.

Bringing the alumni together through an online platform will promote educational and cultural activities at the university, said the vice-chancellor, Professor Dr Parveen Shah. The website will allow our graduates to address the economic, cultural and academic problems facing the nation and to transfer knowledge to the younger students, she added. While speaking at the conference, the director of the university’s alumni association, Prof. Dr Shafiq Ahmed Arain, pointed out that around 200 alumni are currently with the association.

A number of eminent personalities, including the director of the university’s Shikarpur campus, Dr Lutufullah Mangi and the dean of the faculty of commerce, Dr Lutuf Ali Phulpoto, were present at the inauguration.
