Attacked: Two friends found dead in University Town

PESHAWAR:
Two bodies were found inside a house in University Town on Sunday.
Police said two friends, Ayub Khan and Wasil Khan, were shot on Saturday night and their bodies were found at Ayub’s house.
Neighbours saw the bodies and informed the police who took the deceased for an autopsy.
Family members of the police said they had no dispute with anyone while the police suspects that the deceased might have fired at each other in intoxication. An FIR has been registered.
Shrine damaged
A shrine was damaged in an explosion in Sheikh Muhammadi village in the jurisdiction of Badhaber police on Saturday night.
Unidentified militants planted two bombs in Akhun Salar Baba’s shrine in Sheikh Muhammadi graveyard. One of the bombs failed to explode. The second bomb was defused by the bomb disposal squad who said the explosive device weighed three kilogrammes.
The bomb destroyed a boundary wall of the veranda.
