Murder: Man killed over old enmity

Although police has registered a murder case but no arrests have been made yet.

JHAND: A man was shot dead over an old enmity in Jhand on Saturday. Police sources said four armed assailants intercepted Muhammad Rafiq near Mohalla Ghora when he was coming back to his village with two other persons and killed him on the spot.

According to a preliminary investigation, the victim had a dispute with Sher Zaman, Sahab Khan, Zia Khan, and Hassan Abbas over a kidnapping for ransom.

Police registered a murder case against the suspected assailants but no arrests had been made till the filing of this story.
