No surname change for Kim Kardashian

Kim says she may want her and Kanye West's baby to also be a Kardashian.

Rapper Kanye West might be old-fashioned, but socialitie Kim Kardashian is not willing to give in. West wants Kim to use his last name after their marriage but she is not ready for it, showbizspy.com quoted a source.

Kim, 32, not only said “no way” but said she may want their baby to also be a Kardashian. West and Kardashian got together in April last year and are now expecting a baby in July.

“Kanye is very disappointed and upset about the whole thing but Kim is refusing to budge,” said a source. “She also thinks it’s a way to let him know that she is not after him for his money.”

The couple started their relationship about nine months ago, but in a short time, became serious with each other. Earlier, in a blog, Kim announced her pregnancy. The message “New Year, New Beginnings” was a detailed note about how she feels. She also added that they are looking forward to great new beginnings and starting a family in 2013.
