Social Responsibility: PTCL takes step for employees’ welfare

In the first phase of this programme, employees are being provided motorcycles in 48 instalments on an ownership-basis

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has taken numerous initiatives for development and welfare of its employees and values the commitment and dedication exhibited by them.  Recently, the company provided motorcycles on an ownership-basis to its customer services representatives and technicians of field units as part of the company’s employee development initiatives. In the first phase of this programme, employees are being provided motorcycles in 48 instalments on an ownership-basis.  In addition, 30 litres of fuel will also be provided by the company every month. This facilitation exercise brings convenience for the employees and also strengthens the field resources for provisioning of better services to the customers. PTCL Human Resources Senior Executive Vice President Syed Mazhar Hussain said, “This initiative will not only benefit employees but also inspire them to deliver beyond customer expectations.

I just left PTCL and joined another telecom company but now I regret leaving PTCL and can say it with utmost confidence that PTCL is the best telecom company in Pakistan with respect to employee management. I'm trying to get back into the PTCL.
