Treatment facility: Measles ward set up at Allied Hospital

FAISALABAD: A measles ward has been established at the Allied Hospital, Medical Superintendent Dr Rashid Maqbool said on Wednesday. He was addressing reporters. Dr Maqbool said that the hospital administration had arranged 36 beds in 18 rooms of the measles ward, where patients will be given intensive care. He said senior doctors and paramedical staff had been directed to remain available at the ward round the clock. He said some eight to 10 children were brought to the hospital daily for checkup against measles. The hospital, he said, had made elaborate arrangements for the treatment of children suffering from measles.
