ICC Women’s World Cup: South Africa beat Pakistan by 126 runs

This was Pakistan's third defeat in the tournament.

CUTTACK: Pakistan were handed a heavy defeat by South Africa in a crucial match at the ICC Women's World Cup on Tuesday, Express News reported. 

The team failed to chase a target of 208 runs and lost all the wickets for 81 runs.

The match, which took place in Cuttack, India, was Pakistan's third defeat at the World Cup.

With two defeats each for both Pakistan and South Africa, the match was a do-or-die situation for both teams.

Losing wickets in the initial stages, Pakistan managed a meager score.  Sidra Ameen scored the highest with 15 runs, while Asmavia Iqbal scored the second highest with 14 runs.

Pakistan had earlier lost to Australia and New Zealand.
