Plea against police: Torture crippled my son, court told

GUJRANWALA: A man on Monday submitted a petition before the sessions judge, saying that his son had become crippled due to police torture.  Baghbanpura’s Haji Mohammad Siddique said his son Shakeel was a trader. He said Shakeel had been arrested by police over false allegations of kidnapping. He said police tortured him so brutally that when he was produced before a court, he talked non-sense. The court ordered his medical examination.
